Benefits of Wire Erosion

Whilst chemical etching is an accurate method of manufacture, occasionally specified tolerances are smaller than the process capabilities. Extensive R & D has allowed us to develop a cost effective method of manufacturing thin gauge metal components by wire erosion, giving the benefit of a square edge and better accuracy. It also allows the processing of the few metals whose chemical composition makes them unsuitable for etching.

The capabilities of our wire erosion machines is not limited to the manufacture of thin gauge components metal up to 150mm thick can be processed, with no programming charge.
