Laser Cutting

In situations where etching is an unsuitable process for your requirements, Qualitetch offers CNC laser cutting. This makes a useful compliment to our extensive list of services and means that Qualitetch is the only name you need think of for your total metal component solution.

Laser cutting will produce parts with comparable tolerances to etching and is another quick, low cost method of profiling not only metal components but even wood and paper  to name a few!

Another advantage of laser is that larger parts can be processed. Sheets of up to 1500mm x 3000mm can be cut in various metals and other materials, some of the basics are detailed below:

Mild steels - up to 20mm thick

Stainless steels - up to 12mm thick

Aluminium - up to 8mm thick.

The laser cutting path can be quickly and accurately programed with the use of electronic drawings in either DXF or DWG format.
